I have seen Space Invader pieces while walking around London, France, and around San Diego where I went on a mini quest to find them during SDCC, but now he has gone to depths I may never get to. Teamed up with a helping hand and scuba from Jason deCaires Taylor, Invader’s well known tile work is now on the ocean floor off of Cancun. The iconic little invaders are affixed tag team style with Taylor’s underwater sculptures that shows the lengths to which the Invader invasion goes. A perfect match of artists it seems.
I am starting to think Mordor and Hoth will be added to the Invader list soon.
