Ack Ack! Ack Ack Ack! I wanted to give an update using all “Ack Acks” but that may fall short. If you haven’t seen the Tim Burton film “Mars Attacks” then you won’t understand that the aliens (as awesomely painted by Ragnar above) only say that one word.
Ragnar has captured these country music hating lifeforms perfectly. The color, the tone, the expression, and the entire ensemble is spot on. Hats off to you Brandon and Ack Ack!
Looks like we have a creature feature on our hands from Ragnar. By the looks below of two more pieces in “Engine” we will have a massive dose of monsters. Frankenstein’s monster looks pretty somber from this angle, but his cohort most definitely isn’t.
Ragnar’s “Engine” opens alongside Gary Ham’s “Sentimentrees” on November 1st at Stranger Factory with an opening reception from 6-9pm.
