The artist roster is outstanding, and we are ridiculously excited to show you what all of them have in the works! BOO!

Boo skelve

Get ready for the release of the Mini Glow in the Dark BOO SKELVE! Another piece of resin goodness casted by Adam at Truecast Studios and sculpted by Scott Wetterschneider of Shinbone Creative. Both have done a stunning job!

The Boos are just over 5 inches tall to go along with the sold out Mini Greeter that was released earlier this year, and a perfect taller sibling to the Boo Skelve that will be in the Cardboard Spaceship x Circus Posterus mini series (did you pick up a blank at SDCC?).

These will start haunting on Saturday, July 27th on the Circus Posterus web store. An edition of only 55 these boos wont lurk forever, and they are only $80.

Back from SDCC

sdcc18It was the best of times, and it was the worst of times… it was SDCC. Actually, it was just crazy, packed, exhausting times! All the Circus Posterus artists and staff at the convention had an amazing time. Thank you to Cardboard Spaceship for having us all out because it was a blast!!

Kathie Olivas’ new Calliope!

We’re just dropping a whole lot of new things on you this week, and we haven’t even fully recovered from the madness of Comic-Con.

Kathie Olivas’ Calliope Jackalope is out in a new colourway, “Wicked”, from our collaboration with Tomenosuke, this time inspired by old timey vintage Halloween! For the first time, her body is a clear vinyl, and her painted bits are as lovely as ever.

More Brandt Peters and Kathie Olivas for SDCC

red death midiHow about another SDCC piece before we all fly out to San Diego? This time, it’s a custom Red Death Midi Skelve by Brandt and Kathie! We haven’t seen too many Midi Skelves pop up yet, so this is sure to be a highly sought after piece! Do not forget that Brandt Peters will be signing and sketching on Saturday, July 20 at 2pm.

Remember – Circus Posterus’ artist customs and work will be made available for purchase from 12 noon to close every day (Thursday – Sunday) during Comic-Con after Wednesday’s “Preview Night”.  Circus Posterus member and co-founder Kathie Olivas will not be attending this year, but will have custom hand painted figures and other goodies available for purchase at the CS booth throughout the whole event (all of her customs will be signed in advance).

Blank Wandering Misfits for SDCC

After a loooong wait, the Wandering Misfits are finally coming to San Diego for a very special SDCC release! The Wandering Misfits mini series by Kathie Olivas and Brandt Peters from  Cardboard Spaceship Toys will be at the convention as blind boxed blanks!

These are going to have a strict limit of only 2 per person, so you might want to find some good Circus friends to trade with! Grab a couple boxes and get  Brandt Peters to doodle on them at his Saturday, July 20th  2 PM SIGNING AND SKETCH SESSION.

CIRCUS POSTERUS X CARDBOARD SPACESHIP

BOOTH # 5346
Circus Posterus is proud to announce our appearance at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. CP will be taking over the Cardboard Spaceship Toys booth (#5346) on Saturday, July 20th. Artists Chris Ryniak, Amanda Louise Spayd and Brandt Peters will be conducting 2 hour signing and sketching sessions on that day during the following scheduled times:

 

Amanda Louise Spayd –  Saturday, July 20th    12 PM “noon” (SIGNING AND SKETCH SESSION)

Amanda will be bringing the first 10 pieces of a limited run entitled “Bumble“, as well as four one of a kind 10″ Dust Bunnies. She will also have several original drawings across multiple price points, and an assortment of merchandise for sale.

Brandt Peters –Saturday, July 20th     2 PM (SIGNING AND SKETCH SESSION)

Brandt will be in person representing both himself and Kathie Olivas (not in attendance). For the convention weekend, Brandt will be bringing an assortment of customs – from MINI GREETER SKELVES and MINI BOO SKELVE figures, to his recently released Mortimer figure…

There will also be an assortment of Kathie Olivas customs from MIDI SKELVES to her brand new “large format” ASH figure from the upcoming Wandering Misfits mini-series – Brandt and Kathie’s collaboration with Cardboard Spaceship: Wandering Misfits. In addition to all of the above, a super-special exclusive SDCC release of blank mini figures from the upcoming Wandering Misfits mini-series will also be made available for the public. A mix of assorted merchandise from Brandt and Kathie will be available at the booth as well.

Chris will have an assortment of customs based on his classic Crumbeater and Bubblegut figures as well as assorted sketches and drawings.

The first custom Ash by Kathie Olivas for SDCC

Kathie Olivas is bringing the first custom Ash to SDCC in just over a week! Ash is part of the Wandering Misfits mini series coming out with Cardboard Spaceship, but this one isn’t a mini! Ash is quite large and most definitely in charge. Adorned with a nice #3, Ash has big things planned for SDCC and beyond. We’ll probably be seeing more of Ash in the future, and perhaps even more of the misfit crew!

Circus Posterus returns to SDCC to take over the Cardboard Spaceship’s booth #5346 on Saturday, July 20th!
