Drawings

Earlier this week, we told you about the updated plans for Circus Posterus at SDCC, and now we got some more goodies to share with the masses of con-goers. Chris Ryniak is in San Diego, with all of his cute, hungry, timid, curious, wide-eyed, fun, sometimes scary creature drawings, which will be at the Circus Posterus takeover of Cardboard Spaceship’s booth #5346 tomorrow.

All Circus Posterus’ artist customs and work will be made available for purchase from 12 noon to close every day (Thursday – Sunday) during Comic-Con. Chris will also be signing and sketching at the booth on Saturday, July 20th at 4pm.

Carousel of Crumbeaters for SDCC… by @chrisryniak

Oh, how nerdy Chris Ryniak can get when he has time to play. We never would have guessed it.

Anyway, to show off his herd of Crumbeaters for SDCC, Chris made this nice video with them swirling around until they barf up all their toast crumbs. Notice how each of these guys is different from his sibling! Priced at $200 each, these guys won’t last long.

The Crumbeaters  will be up for grabs and feedings from 12 noon to close every day on Thursday – Sunday during Comic-Con (not available during Wednesday’s “Preview Night”) at the Cardboard Spaceship booth #5346. Chris will be signing and sketching when Circus Posterus invades Comic Con at Cardboard Spaceship’s booth on Saturday, July 20th.

Things are getting big for Monsters and Misfits III

  • by

m7m3_slideSeptember will be here in the blink of an eye, and we have been keeping tabs on what the Circus Posterus artists and invited guests have been up to for Monsters & Misfits III.

I don’t think the crew had the old saying “go big or go home” in mind with this show, because I don’t think many of them would want to go back home…so they are just going big! From the looks of it, Brandt is in the process of making an epic sized white whale…scratch that – an epic size narwhal named Mortimer. Ryniak on the other hand, has taken to creating a beast so large his son could ride it to school! Don’t worry, these guys will create amazing work in all shapes and sizes, and not just miniature pony sizes.

The Monsters and our team of Misfits head over to Japan this September, and we will be keeping you up to date, as all the amazing pieces come to life!

1002772_10151778416278628_1979950962_nEven with anticipation and stress levels rising for SDCC, these two custom bubbleguts by Chris Ryniak bring a much needed snaggletoothed smile to my face. On Saturday, July 20th, Chris will be joined by Brandt Peters and Amanda Louise Spayd at the Cardboard Spaceship booth #5346 when Circus Posterus returns to the San Diego Comic Con.

Chris is bringing a bounty of creatures with him to the convention, and these two burrito filled Bubbleguts are part of the entourage for $700 each. After a long night in the Gaslamp Quarter of eating, partying, and eating again, these two will be looking for a new home on Saturday and a proper nap thereafter. We will have details soon on how we’ll be handling SDCC releases, so keep watching the news feed.

No crumb left uneaten at SDCC

Herd of Crumbs

Hide your pretzels and don’t leave a burrito anywhere near them, because a herd of Crumbeaters are making their way to the San Diego Comic Con!

Chris Ryniak has taken a small handful of these small hunger driven creations and given them each their own distinct personality. You read correctly, every one of these dudes have some added sculpting and attitude! All are distinct and definitely one of a kind. There is just one more finishing touch left on them before they head over to the Cardboard Spaceship booth #5346 on Saturday, July 20th when Circus Posterus takes over for a day.

…and they are HUNGRY!
