WIP by Andrew Bell for Monsters & Misfits III

  • by

Bell MMIIIAndrew Bell is going to Japan for Monsters & Misfits III with the Circus Posterus hooligans, and we have some developing work by his awesome self. This toothy looking glob is well on its way to being a creature straight from Andrew’s head! Still in its very early stages, it seems like a bellybutton is even going to make an appearance (an inny too) with an ice cream coned swirled noggin. We will keep everyone updated on more work when we get tidbits here and there, but we can already tell you that this show will blow you out of the water like Godzilla doing a belly flop!!!

Drawings

Earlier this week, we told you about the updated plans for Circus Posterus at SDCC, and now we got some more goodies to share with the masses of con-goers. Chris Ryniak is in San Diego, with all of his cute, hungry, timid, curious, wide-eyed, fun, sometimes scary creature drawings, which will be at the Circus Posterus takeover of Cardboard Spaceship’s booth #5346 tomorrow.

All Circus Posterus’ artist customs and work will be made available for purchase from 12 noon to close every day (Thursday – Sunday) during Comic-Con. Chris will also be signing and sketching at the booth on Saturday, July 20th at 4pm.

Grab a ride with Dok A for Monsters & Misfits III

Tric2

What? Is Dok A trying to torture us with this image for Monsters & Misfits IIINow, we can surmise that this has to be a robot of sorts driving a tricycle, but just how big is this dude? Will there be a passenger in the back? Hold up – it looks like the legs move with the pedals too!!! Since this is still a major work in progress before it heads off to Japan in September, we may not know for a bit, but  this looks like an epic undertaking!

Mutant Vinyl Hardcore, you say?

1044259_594090003965134_1915688480_nWhat could this be? Is this a mashup by Mutant Vinyl Hardcore on a Brandt Peters Stingy Jack? Looks like a Sam Heinous head by MVH on the Stingy Jack body, and sprayed up by Lash, aka Rich Montanari Jr. There’s a pretty good chance that this will be showing up at “Lost Worlds” August 2, at Stranger Factory…

red death midiHow about another SDCC piece before we all fly out to San Diego? This time, it’s a custom Red Death Midi Skelve by Brandt and Kathie! We haven’t seen too many Midi Skelves pop up yet, so this is sure to be a highly sought after piece! Remember – Circus Posterus’ artist customs and work will be made available for purchase from 12 noon to close every day (Thursday – Sunday) during Comic-Con after Wednesday’s “Preview Night”.  Circus Posterus member and co-founder Kathie Olivas will not be attending this year, but will have custom hand painted figures and other goodies available for purchase at the CS booth throughout the whole event (all of her customs will be signed in advance).
