sack

Looks like Sackhead finally crawls out of the dark for the his debut release at San Diego Comic Con!

We have patiently been waiting for the Brandt Peters x Mutant Vinyl Hardcore collaboration for over a year now and it is finally happening! We still do not know the edition size or the specifics on sales, but we do know that it will go down at Cardboard Spaceship booth #5638 at SDCC.

Should we get in line already?

We are happy to show off the latest edition to the Circus Posterus x Tomenosuki sofubi line, Clementine!
Sprung from the brilliant mind of Kathie Olivas and sculpted by the amazing Yohei Kaneko, Clementine and her puppet will be breaking hearts very very soon.

For now, see the turnarounds in all her glory!

Looks like we will finally see the first Sackhead come to life at San Diego Comic Con this year!
Brandt Peters and Rich from Mutant Vinyl Hardcore have teamed up for one amazing and gruesome new sculpt that have had people salivating for the first release for over a year now! We  are in the dark still on how many this edition will be or sold, but we do know it will go down at the Cardboard Spaceship booth #5638.

See you at SDCC!

After some not so subtle hints, we can finally fully report on the next figure in the brilliant Tomenosuke + Circus Posterus sofubi line, Clementine by Kathie Olivas.

The test pulls are in from Japan, and this little lady is outstanding! Designed by Kathie and sculpted by Yohei of Mirock Toy, Clementine is an ready for mischief around the world in all her pigtail glory. Clementine is a first in our sofubi line because she is articulated at the arms, head, and waist, but ALSO comes with a removable rabbit puppet.

Kathie is busy finalizing the final color versions, but we think this lady will be showing up very soon.

More info soon, but for now, the turnarounds.

Were you on vacation last week? Did you hear about the major sofubi release in the CP Store?

Well, here’s a reminder!

Kathie Olivas and Brandt Peters continued their Circus Posterus x Tomenosuke sofubi collection with red glitter versions of Heathen Snake Skelve, Calliope, and Stingy Jack for the masses! That isn’t all, because there is a little secret with these three that makes them even more epic! Want to know what it is? Well…you can swap out all the heads and bodies!!!! You can create a Heathen Jack, Calliope Snake, and more! it works out perfectly too, with the color way being the same across the board!

We don’t have many of these left. Calliope and the Heathen Snake Skelve are limited to 100 while Stingy Jack is far fewer, and the only way you can get Ol’ Stingy Jack is by buying the sofubi three pack.

photo 1The clues have been out there for quite some time, but we can finally start to show off what’s in store for 2014…the Tomenosuke + CP Chibi Series!

Chibi is a popular Japanese character style, drawing fans of the small and cute. Imagine smaller and even cuter little versions of the toys we all know and love, and know that the Tomenosuke + CP series is taking this idea full throttle. Here is the test sculpt of Brandt Peters‘ Skelve for the series, sculpted by the amazing Yohei Kaneko, in all his squat, bow tied glory.

We don’t have the exact production details yet, but we do know, that they are small / two-part figures and part of a line that will include Circus Posterus favourites, and guest artists. Also, for even more fun – their heads will all be swappable. The first series in the line- up will feature Kathie Olivas, Chris Ryniak, Amanda Louise Spayd, and Brandt Peters.

Check out more of the design below.
