Brandt Peters for Gag Me With a Toon 5!
Gag Me With a Toon 5 opens at the WWA Gallery in Culver City this weekend, and Brandt Peters has a marvelous piece in it. Titled “All-strong! All-brave! All-heroes!,” this graphite on wood drawing is an ode to The Herculoids, a short lived Saturday morning cartoon from the ’60s(with a short revival in the ’80s.)
The show is curated by artists Steven Daily & Tomi Monstre, and opens on this Saturday, May 4th!
